Colum’s Passion for all things Wood!

Colum Murphy, founder of Colum Murphy Skellig Crafts has had a passion for wood and woodturning for many years. Colum trained in mechanical services in the early days and over 21 years built up a very successful engineering business.

Colum is now following his first love of working with wood and has completed many woodturning courses in the past number of years with renowned woodturners in Ireland, England, and Europe.

He is continually upgrading his skills and uses native wood as his first choice of materials. Colum’s passion for all things wood is a joy to watch!
